Activate dataset

Datasets have a start and end date. This allows to open and close the dataset for new data. For example, when you want to schedule an experiment, you can use the start and end dates to ensure that data can be added only in the given time period. If you don't specify start and end dates, then the dataset starts right away and ends in three months.Optionally fill in a start and end data of the dataset.

How to activate the dataset?

1. Browse to the dataset page.
2. Click the "edit" icon next to the dataset title. It's a small pen.
3. Scroll down to the start and end date fields and edit them.
4. Click "save".

Note: this only works if you are the project owner of the project that the dataset belongs to.
